American Visionary Art Museum gala I t was a star of the starry night at the American Visionary Art Museum, as several hundred people gathered for the annual gala the museum. Many of the guests followed the suggested dress code of "broad stripes and bright stars" in honor of the current museum exhibition, "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".

American art and literature in the 1980′s?
I’m doing a research project on art and literature in the 1980′s and cannot find any websites that can give me effective and thorough info. on my topic. Specifically, i need major authors, artists, works, and influences.
I need websites or any facts that people might know about my subject. thankss =]
Greetings! One artist that comes to mind during the 1980′s is Keith Haring. Beyond that, I also would recommend you researching Wikipedia.
Just be sure that when you go to cite something in your report
from Wikipedia, you cross-reference your citation. Wikipedia is very useful to use, but while very well intended, their facts that are periodically flawed. The contributors to the site are primarily laypeople who may or may not have all of their facts correct, as opposed to Historians who write articles for major encyclopedias and have well researched their articles.
Also remember when citing a website, include the date you hit the site. Professors may want to see your sources.
