How can I adjust my old Wall Clock that does not "forget" to chime the hour or half and well get back?

1874 My German grandfather clock Keinsle often skips the bell on the hour or half hour, and therefore gets behind. How can I make an adjustment to stop skipping time is supposed to sound? Otherwise, I'll have to keep pulling the thread little to advance the hood, now I have to do daily, because it keeps jumping points of the hour and half hour when they're supposed Chime.
