Can anyone help me with my study of art final piece?

I have to get a good idea of my final piece in masks masks. I had a couple of ideas, one of which was to present a grand masquerade mask made of a bunch of little masks, but failed and now have a new idea that is going to be easy, but creative. The hard part is my art teacher is highly individualized study and will not let me just draw or paint on a piece of cloth, it is rather something in 3D, please, please someone help me???

I make the investigation of different American Indian tribes, different countries or different events and creating multiple individual masks around a central theme. It would be great if you could include a political message with the masks, the teachers love it. Get some plaster Dick Blick cloth and plaster faces his friends.
