What’s a better ski mountain overall, Camelback Mountain Resort or Blue Mountain?

Both in Pennsylvania. I know blue mountain is a 280 feet taller, but on the map, Camelback Mountain looks wider. Has anyone been to both?
I am a pretty good skier (black and double black) but am going with a bunch of friends who are novices – intermediate at best.
Any suggestions?

Blue Mountain hands down. I have been to both and am between a level 2 and level 3 skier. Blue mountain has a better mix of trails for all skill levels, and I think that their snow making abilities are better. Camelback tends to get icy very quickly and the trails seem to be narrower than those at Blue.

Blue also has beginner trails marked as slow skiing areas so that novices don’t get over run by higher level skiers. I personally haven’t used either ski schools but those I know who have used Blue speak very highly of it.
