The paint really cover jar lids?!?
The paint really cover jar lids?!? I've been working on a recycling project glass containers. I bought a pair acrylic paintings, one that says "opaque" to the right in the bottle, but it is not. I still read "Ragu" through the beautiful painting after several layers. I want to be able to use these in the kitchen, some spices to the store, so do not think I should use Kiltz …. I'm new in this and any help would be greatly appreciated!
Try lightly sanding the lid before painting, and then use a spray paint made for metal, as Krylon or Rustoleum. While putting a coat or two of Krylon Crystal Clear (a top layer of finish) to be good for the storage of dry products (eg spices).
