What kind of appetizers are good for thanksgiving?
I normally do a veggie tray with ranch dip and I probably will do that again.
I am going to have 12 people for Thanksgiving
It will be an early afternoon dinner and I would like to have another appetizer besides my usual veggie tray
I was thinking maybe some crackers and some sort of dip
or maybe some little chicken wings…
what would go good that wont fill everyone up?
My family always has sweet and sour meatballs. I use prepared mini meatballs, (Trader Joe’s brand party size are the best), and I cook them in one can of whole berry cranberry sauce mixed with one bottle of chili sauce which is found near the ketchup in the grocery store. It’s quick, easy and delicious, and just the right bite before a big meal like Thanksgiving. Use one can of cranberries and one bottle of chili sauce per bag of meatballs, and with 12 guests, I would double the recipe. Combine all ingredients and cook over medium until the meatballs and sauce are hot. Serve with toothpicks for easy snacking. Good Luck and Happy Holidays!
