The last beheading in France was in 1977 in the guillotine! Two beheadings were made by an ax and a block in 1938 in Germany (very modern industrialized nation at the time). The court last beheading in Western Germany was in 1949! etc etc in Denmark, Sweden etc etc most western coutries were using this method until recently in the 20 th century!
