Funny that the actor, Ben Stein, is making a film extolling the virtues of intelligent design?

Here are some questions I have for him: 1. Why an intelligent designer to create human beings so that many babies born with horrible birth defects? 2. So many people these days are confusing biblical creationism with intelligent design.
