I have a question about Earth?
Well, I was thinkin’ you know how there’s our side like the U.S. with Canada, and South America and all them? Then there’s the other ‘guys’, Russia, China, Japan, and all those like next to us?
Well, do both of those wrap around the Earth or are there like whole different countries not shown on maps?
Forget about Antarctica and the North Pole or whatever.
No, I’m serious when I ask this. Cuz I wanna know!
Sorry I didn’t mean to put this under Television.
My bad!
We’ve pretty much explored and seen every land mass, so yep, all of the continents (North + South America, Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania) wrap around the world, with every recognized country on the map – nearly 200 exist. All we haven’t discovered are newly formed, small volcanic islands. Everything else has been spotted using Satellites.
Interestingly, in the very distant past, all the continents were all one big land mass with no oceans separating them! But over time continents drift (at about 1cm per year) and can collide with other continents or drift out to be a lone landmass surrounded by water.
