In general, zebra finches thrive at temperatures that are comfortable in've stayed out of the finches in southern California, El Cajon, going down to the 40s at night, sometimes as cold as 32. His aviary was covered and protected from wind and rain, and had a nest that could embrace each keep warm others. I've never had a problem with them.
