Floral Design
When the floral design emerged as an art form, the emphasis was on?
The willingness of various varieties of flowers in tight bunch, or mass. B. creating flowers from materials nonfloral. C. regime bright, friendly and romantic. D. the use of flowers in their natural state and form. I think it's D, but I just wanted to check.
Floral design as an art form is beginning to come of age. To date, there has recorded in a comprehensive way. There are specific cases of the recording, as in the schools of Ikebana, but as a general theme in regard to world culture, documentation has not happened yet. The first step in learning to arrange flowers is to take the time to resolve what is available in styles, materials, plants, etc., and find where the differences lie. It is necessary to move towards what most people uncomplicating treated in a complicated way. Taking the time to sort through floral arrangements will much easier and more fun. The world has three basic styles of floral design, all of which have become art forms. Are Ikebana, Continental and West. In general terms, can be classified as follows; Ikebana has its roots in the East and is based on the line, form and dissemination of materials. Much of Ikebana is the asymmetric shape of a triangle. Continental has its roots in Europe and is the exact opposite of Ikebana. It is a mixture of many types of materials, many colors and textures without obvious line. Its shape is circular. West is a combination of both, the adoption of line and form of Ikebana and use continental of more materials. The United States became the crucible of floral design, as did many other things. It is good to note that emerged in the West than in the mid – 1940s while the other two have been recorded for centuries. As Americans, we loved the art of Ikebana and the abundance of Continental. From the business perspective floral design, we are interested in American style (the quickest, easiest way to achieve the best results) you still end up with a design artistic acceptable. In Ikebana, we hear the terms shin, soe and tai, sometime called heaven, man and earth. These lines are often curved and complicated, but most of all time-consuming. Therefore, Western style, we have adopted the primary, secondary and tertiary straight lines. The feeling of Do (ikebana) or focal attraction was also noted. To avoid disruption in the rhythm, all stems that radiate from the focal lip or the top of the container instead of above the lip as they do in Ikebana – the container in the west not remain an integral part of the design and Ikebana. Making straight lines and moving the focal point of design made the construction much simpler and therefore faster. Westerners were also looks like plenty of Continental, but not the mixture of many materials, so we passed through more numbers, but not much variety. Most design Western is one or two types of materials and certainly no more than four. We can create an asymmetric background (silhouette), using the lines of primary, secondary and Tertiary of 10 or 12 flowers of the same type and color (perhaps pink gladiolus). Through this pink background, we can place a flower in contrast (perhaps red carnations) in a diagonal line. We can finish the design with a filling of flowers or foliage. Thus, we can get both in the art of Ikebana and the abundance of Continental on a construction quick and easy.
