Bedford-based hosts NH Orchid Society Show, sale of Loretta Jackson lit ballroom at the Radisson Hotel Nashua made a backdrop of party for more than 1,000 bright colored plants in the Rapture 19th annual Orchid show and sale organized by the Bedford-based New Hampshire Orchid Society. Anybody out there expert in Antique Pottery & porcelain?
I’m having trouble finding the value for a Large Pitcher I recently found. It was my great-grandmothers, and is at least 120 years old.
It’s is pristine condition. The pitcher was made by the Mercer Pottery Co. in New Jersey, and is mostly white, with floral and Gold Accents. i do have a photo for anyone to view who’s interested.
There are no numbers on the pitcher, just the crown and shield logo that says ‘MERCER’ and semivitreous.
Are there any numbers or anything else on the piece??
If you are in the Mercer County area, which is where I am, you could take it to David Rago antiques in Lambertville, New Jersey. Every Monday they give free appraisals. I believe the appraisals start at noon. You may have seen Mr. Rago on antiques roadshow. If the pitcher has any value, he would definitely be able to tell you. Good Luck!!
