Why do I see geese flying in right now?
I live in southern Ontario, and geese in the past I've only seen in the late spring and summer. Last fall, I saw some geese flying south, but I can still see that in February. Why would it be?
Geese fly southward until they find open water. To the extent that they can have water, food and the temperature remains mild enough to maintain the freeze water that will stay around.
