Centerpieces Are Great Paper Flower Projects

Paper flower projects are easy and enjoyable to make. These projects make for some nice quite relaxing alone time and can also make some nice quality family time.

Paper flower projects can be made for your home and as gifts or for any occasion. All you need is a book on how to make paper flowers that includes patterns, step-by-step directions and a picture of the completed flower. The picture acts as a visual aid to show you what your flower is supposed to look like. I personally find this very helpful when making a new flower.

My favorite projects to make are centerpieces. I love a house full of beautiful flowers that require no care at all. Not all of us where blessed with a green thumb and regardless of how often I water, feed and talk to my plants and flowers they never seem to stick around as long as they should. So for me personally a centerpieces filled with paper flowers is perfect.

A nice centerpiece that I enjoy making is a colorful layered centerpiece filled with carnations. I make about two dozen carnations in all different colors. Some of them I even sprinkle with a little glitter. I use a clear vase and place a few large gem stone style rocks that can be purchased at the craft store or even the dollar store. I fill about 3 inches of the bottom of the vase with all different colored stones and then place my carnations in the vase alternating the colors. I usually choose three colors. I make the stems longer on one dozen of the paper carnations (making sure that I do this with one of each color.) When I have them all arranged in the vase it appears to have a layered look and a very colorful one at that!

I also enjoy making a centerpiece I like to call the “tropical paradise” I usually make this one during the cold snowy, icy months. I use an assortment of tropical flowers and a good amount of greenery and bright lively crepe paper. I use a tall Floor Vase and arrange them so the flowers with the shortest stems line the base of the vase and the middle section is about 2 inches taller than the base flowers and my tallest flowers are about 2 inches higher than the second layer of flowers. The greenery is about an inch taller than the tallest paper flowers. I place the vase right near the door and when I come in from shoveling the walkway or after work they are the first thing I see and it is a nice reminder that winter will not last forever!

During the holiday season I have a white mini tree that I set on top of the counter and decorate with all sorts of colorful flowers. This is always one of the first things guests notice when they come to visit. Even though there is a ten foot blue spruce Christmas Tree decorated to the hilt sitting a few feet away from it.

A beautiful paper flower project will always get your quests attention and almost always put a smile on their face!

That depends on how expensive or the glass is invaluable. But first, ask your friend if you would falaka appease him / her or he / she prefers to replace the glass or pay for a new one. You can feel duly punished, but your friend can not be unsatisfied you better ask first. If he / she insist falaka: white shorts (sorry) without shoes or socks (falaka should remain on the skin) use a whip belt, shoe and leather horse whip (easy to handle) is incidental if it is possible (but if you insist, a large chain) The use of foot ring as a reminder and how long will depend on your friend.
