Does anyone know how to make that fruit fly trap out of dish detergent, vinegar, and something else?
I’ve made it before…but i forgot exactly how.
Apple cider vinegar (not white), a piece of banana, a drop of DW detergent, and a jar wih a paper cone so they can get in but not out. The soap is supposed to trap and drown them. Doesn’t work for me. You don’t need more than a couple tablespoons of vinegar; it’s the smell that attracts them. Next time I leave out the vinegar and detergent.
