Glaze Mug
It is safe handmade ceramics in the microwave and dishwasher?

I just paint a Ceramic Cup in a pottery painting shop called Bee's Knees. I forgot to ask this question and all I know about the cup is to be glazed and then put in a high temperature furnace. It is assumed I have to pick it up within a week. Does anyone have any idea if these little ceramic paint stores often use materials and techniques that make their parts microwave-safe and dishwasher? , Or even safe for food at all? I use my cup of soup and hot chocolate for the road. Thanks! :]

Yes … is safe for microwave and dishwasher. I have cups that are 5 years old and still look as good as the day of my departure from using them. ENJOY ))))))
