Why gold enamel saturation turn gray?

When I use the gold enamel saturation in pottery class that always gets almost entirely gray with touches of gold, but all of the photo on the same line indicate that it should be truly golden. Why is this happening and how I can fix it? he was fired in an electric oven and stoneware. It is designed for stoneware that is not the problem. As for the reduction or oxidation, not sure, but I think that the saturation of Gold is a veneer of potter and the choice can be used in a furnace oxidation or reduction.

Check how fired enamel. How high were you fired? It was in the oxidation or reduction?
