Cross-breeding pink eye purple hull peas and beans …?

My aunt planted pink eye purple hull peas and beans side by side and get Some very strange to come. one of the pods came in white or cream colored with pink stripes. peas or beans or whatever they are the same. the pod is the way of a Lima bean pod of beans or peas and beans appear. Is it possible that this is a crossroads and what is it?? Thank you very much

It is possible, but from peas and beans are different species in the same plant family is not likely in my opinion. Much of this depends on the proximity of the two plants are genetically as a rule. If it is produced and the seed was viable and were able to stabilize and get to stay true to form for several generations, then you really could have a trade issue here. Otherwise just enjoy the accident and hope that are edible and tasty and visually appealing. Good Luck.
