opening a small shop in Italy?

I do not know if this site will be able to help me because I live in Italy, but in our village there is a many small shops are empty … one of them would be ideal for a arts and crafts workshop with a small gallery where they sell crafts local … The problem is that there are no signs in the windows list of contact numbers, etc, and my Italian is very limited.
