Question for people who makes pottery / ceramics …..?

I have some beautiful mugs. They are plain white glass, except they have a pattern printed on Small Green one hand, I'm not very interested in more and would like to remove or cover ….. Does anyone know if there is any way to do this without damaging the cup, or something I could do to meet the standard? I'm not sure who looked more work. Xx Thanks I do have a "do it yourself" Ceramic place nearby, so maybe I'll try that … Thanks

Depending on what type of paint underneath to begin with, it may be possible re-varnish. Do you have access to a professional oven? Do you know someone their own pottery glazes? You can not just paint over it. It should be dismissed an oven. Can the risk of damaging their vessels, so definitley to seek professional help. Do you have places like "Paint it Your Way" where you live? It may be that allow you to bring your own cups, but I doubt that guarantees the outcome, since they already have a glaze of existence to begin with. You may need to be sanded first. This does not sound like a DIY project for me. Another idea is to ask the art department at the local university. A student or staff member can help.
