How do I put fragrance oil lamp?

OK, so I bought this bottle of regular lamp oil. He lit some for our lamps at home and realized this oil without smell supposedly gave enough of a hint of kerosene, or whatever that smell is, he did a little unpleasant. He had to light some scented candles to try to eliminate the smell. My question is, from an existing supply of lamp oil, is there any way I can add a fragrance to help reduce fat / smell of kerosene?
