Type pot / jar for planting Heliconia rostrata / Sexy Pink?

Hello, I'm looking for a rhizome plant Heliconia rostrata, and a sexy pink heliconia rhizome separately. Are for use indoors, and planted separately as two separate plants. My question is, what kind of pot or jar can in these plants? I see pictures in magazines to decorate the heliconia plants emerging from these bottles, but I'm not sure if the entire plant or just the court. Or am I limited to just a regular planter? Thanks

They also grow in many types of heliconia I live in Zone 11 (the tropics), and roots need plenty of room to multiply and spread, or the plant will not prosper. You need a container for these heliconia, if you want them to grow up healthy and attractive appearance. These plants will be stressed in no time, no flowers, and leaves have to "shabby" look if the roots do not have enough space. They really are tropical and prefer to be on the ground where they multiply. But, if you must pot up, make sure that the pots are large enough to allow root growth and some of multiplication, at least 24 "in diameter. They like moisture and humidity conditions. They are also heavy feeders and prefer rainwater or water that has no chemical additives. Good Luck with these heliconias – are beautiful if grown the way should be.
