Ceramics and modeling clay?
I'm looking at the performance of an ambition to make an extravagant life out pots, plates, ornaments, vases vases, ashtrays and all sorts of weird and wonderful Nik Naks – all on clay. I do not have much money to throw at it and started as a hobby, and hopefully if I gained enough momentum to sell things locally or on ebay and maybe have enough money for a kiln. My question is how do I get started and What 'is the best kind clay to use and without an oven, but using an oven or outdoor barbecue gas grill (you can heat up to 800degrees – Not sure if this is Celsius or Fahrenheit)?
If you are interested in using polymer clay, which needs only a low oven temperature regularly – Regular or toaster oven (at approx. 265-275 F, 15-45 minutes). (Polymer clay can be cured in most unusual ways as well … A furnace that burns to a powder however, and Never Used.) Very big things can make polymer clay, but they are generally thicker than 1 1 / 4 "unless there is an armor that are made under or" hole ". All things that you mentioned could be made of polymer clay, but the plates could not be eaten directly off (could put the clay on the back of a glass plate however). Polymer clay is good for all kinds of "strange and wonderful" gifts Knick and is often used for such things. Also can be used to do things that are equisitely elegant, simple and pretty, or in any way at all … depends entirely on the manufacturer. For information on the clay baking polymer, or almost anything else on polymer clay, check out my free online polymer clay for loads of experience, information, examples, etc..
