Pottery Majolica
Ceramic Hello experts – I have this majolica (?) Of birds and wondered if anyone knew of an approximate age or region of origin?

The first response is mostly good, although many of majolica was made in Britain, as shown in antiques road show. I agree that this was probably in the years slipcast 50 or 60, when a lot of people were doing the painting ceramic biscuit fired slip cast items from shops, some of which still are around – I was having one here in Dallas several years ago.
