Christmas Open House Ideas?

I'm throwing my 2nd Christmas "Open House Party and the 1st one was pretty good, but I would boot up a notch this year. Areas I'm hoping to improve on are: food decoration and gifts. Last year I made mini loaves and placed them Bananas Christmas in nice ceramic pots full of bread that I found for $ 1 each at Garden Ridge Pottery. I'd like to do something different this year though. Thank you!

Fritatt are quick and easy to make bite-size — made in the muffin tins are great for parties of type "Open House". (Google for a variety of recipes …) for decoration — fill clear vases with cranberries to about 3 / 4 full and put a candle inside a crystal chandelier. hang Felt half (they look really nice with a very homemade, old-fashioned sewing — big and not "perfect" look) and fill with candy for people to help themselves, instead of using bowls to go — stockings gifts found in candy that can be granted or maintain jars filled with dry ingredients to make Christmas cookies with the recipe attached to a decorative Christmas card and colored ribbons.
