Great Places to See on a Copenhagen Holiday

Copenhagen is a gorgeous city and an incredible getaway for your next holiday.  This city is one of those places in the world where you can leave your life behind you, while still being in the middle of civilization.  A car hire is the perfect way to experience this city.  Set your own schedule, your own pace and your own style with the right car hire Copenhagen.  You will have the freedom of choice to go where you want to go and to see what you want to see.  Copenhagen is truly a place to lose yourself in, without ever being lost.

Copenhagen is both the largest city and the capital of Denmark.  The city has the largest airport in Scandinavia and is the region’s cultural and financial hub.  The city has been recognized by many publications as one of the most promising cities in Europe.  Copenhagen also has the distinction of being one of the cleanest and environmentally friendly cities in the world.  Start your trip in Copenhagen by driving your car hire to the Middelalderbyen (middle city).  This is the oldest continuously occupied section of the city and houses the Christiansborg Palace, which is the seat of the Danish Parliament.  The most recognized section of the city is the Frederiksstaden.  While in this district visit the Amalienborg Palace.  This palace is the winter home of the Danish Royal Family.

Copenhagen has a beautifully horizontal skyline broken only in places by the spires of churches.  Visit the Church of Our Savior for a stunning look at a characteristic Baroque spire.  A stairway leads to the top of this spire for an awe-inspiring view of the city.  Rosenberg Castle also has a very recognizable spire built in a renaissance style.

Copenhagen has a large array of parks and beaches, adding to the city’s “green” style.  At Rosenberg Castle you will find King’s Garden, the most popular and visited park in the city.  The Botanical Gardens lie in the city center and are highlighted by a series of 19th century greenhouses.  Amager Strandpark is a beachside park with 4.6 km of beaches located just 15 minutes outside of the city center.  The city also has an impressive system of Harbor Baths, highlighted by the ones at Islands Brygge.  An interesting day can also be spent by driving a Copenhagen car hire to either Tivoli Gardens or Dyrehavsbakken. These are the two oldest amusement parks in the world.  When you visit the wonderful city of Copenhagen, make sure you have your car hire reserved in advance, you would not want to waste any minute of your holiday in the Danish capital.

Give them a call. They do carry some Royal Copenhagen, but they also may know where you can purchase the ornaments. They also have a location on Mica Lane in Wellesley, but I could find the exact address online. I know because I go there when I visit one of my doctors!
