Why I can not activate my McAfee system tray icon?

Sometimes when I turn on my computer, my little icon in the tray McAffee system is activated. And sometimes we have the circle with line through it over the top? It is still a red shield with a white M, but circle and line. Clicking on the icon, the update program arises from the "Sonic Wall," it does is runthrough, and still protect virus is "reduced." Is there a way to allow this? Or is it just a glitch and my protection is still working and I should not worry Why?

Try uninstalling and reinstall Mcafee. Sometimes this can be an easy solution.
