Tableware colors. Need help deciding?!
Recently I decided to buy a good set of dishes. I'm going with Cucina Fresca collection. I decided to go with the lilac Sorbetto but want you to stop, either chocolate brown or white colors. I love chocolate and purple together, but here it is my dilemma. I have a chocolate brown table, I think it will be too brown. We love to party and serves great gourmet dinner. I think the sight of food on a plate dark not very appetizing. Is anyone out there have brown plates? How does the food look on the plates of darkness? I know the sight of food always on a White Plate looks clean and nice. Any input is appreciated.
My sister is a photographer for the food and plates are almost always used white or clear, because the food has look more attractive to them. When the table is just set with no food in the dishes, I love how dark the plates look (even against dark wood), but reality is, you will eat out of them and the target is oblivious to clean out the colors in food. That's my opinion. I stay with white if it were me.
