"I can move my 10'-12 'tall blue spruce easily? How could I do it myself?

Or you can cut back trees pine if they are spread is getting too large? How much can cut back without damaging the tree? I have to figure out what to do with this tree that the former owners (home) planted near the fence of the neighbors! It's just a really bad place ………. Annieme71 Hey, First thing to do if you are going to move, take a sharp spade and give around the field cutting the roots of about 5 feet from the base of this tree. Then let stand to accommodate the roots pruned for a week. Weather is against you at this time, it is probably beginning to sap flow. You need someone with a truck. When you want to move, assuming that there will away from where you are, dig the roots, wash and start cleaning. Starting on the outside and moving toward the center. This is hard work and very messy. Get a lever and work your way around the handle of trees and dig, dig and lift, carry on, washing the roots as you go. when you get one that is "stuck" to see if you can keep down the hose to loosen. Make sure you have already prepared the planting hole. You need 24 inches deep at least, and the base of the Tree Trunk has to be above the ground (as it probably is now).
