What to do with a glass of water that used to pour naughty?

I have a problem with a glass of water that used to pour le right.When more inclined to pour a boat out, and then when the angle is increased trundles under the cover all over the place there is a danger of tea that falls into the lower regions causing much virility pain. Do I cut notch in the upper beak. I have another glass of water does not cause this problem, but it has a quart of tea and is enormous, is transmitted as Army Corps of Catering totally unworkable. I forgot to mention is steel kettle. All suggestions are appreciated Gratfully.
