potters/ceramic artists: which type of clay do you prefer working with on the wheel?

I throw with Stoneware Clay, although I’m thinking about branching out. How do you feel about earthenware and porcelain? What are the pros/cons of each?

I love Cone 6 porcelain for throwing. Extremely smooth and a beautiful clay body even after firing.
