Do I have a case against a tile company?

I recently had tile put in my house. I was here all the time the company installed tile. After we were done, I do not care for the grout against the board. They never took the socket before installing the tile. I called a group tile company and asked how to put the tile. All of them said they insisted on removing the motherboard before you put the tile, and that was unprofessional to do otherwise. I have already paid in full. I called the company explaining the situation and asked what they could do. They say they would have to redo everything therefore to put in sockets and have to pay. This is the first time I've had tile work! I knew nothing of the motherboard! They took all grout along the baseboards and put putty over the place. It looks like shit! I want to do it all or I want my money back! What is your opinion on this and I have a case?

If there was a written agreement for work, check and see what are the stipulations. If you paid for and signed into something, you may have freedom of all responsibility, so I put tile in my own house and that is the procedure the board must come first. After reviewing their agreements and not finding any of the stipulations, you can take to small claims court of $ 5,000 or less. Take photographs of the work to the forefront of the board. A judge may be sympathetic if you can make a good case. Good Luck, I feel for you because many remodeling jobs to become a fiasco.
