Anybody know about a base stamp which reads Flora & Fauna,Staffordshire?

It’s a Two Handled vase Ive inherited. Picture of Pheasants to front and a shield (topped with a crown) saying Flora and Fauna, Staffordshire England. It looks quite old but I cannot find a maker.

Ceramics marked England.are made before a specific date ….unfortunately I do not know what that date is.

Flora and Fauna is just the name given to the piece obviously showing both wildlife and plants.

You may be able to tell more from the colour of the material that the vase is made from, also from whether the picture is transfer ……and what sort of transfer.

Having a latin title would suggest to me that its victorian……picture transfers were common then.

In the victorian period there were numerous factories…….so I think you may find it difficult to identify.

I would guess it is on either soft paste or porcelain………but then without a photo thats a bit of a guess in the dark
