How can I keep my bamboo green and healthy?

I have 4 of bamboo in a large glass of water and the leaves turn yellow and some leaves left growing. How much sun should be receiving? How can I keep my healthy bamboo?

You must have a "Lucky Bamboo" which is a type of Cordyline. We must get plenty of light but not direct sun. Change the water in the vase regularly, at least once a week. Fill with distilled water best results. A few drops of a mild liquid houseplant fertilizer such as Miracle-Gro or Schultz drops weeks, every 3 or 4 should be all the nutrients it needs. cut the yellow leaves that appear to enhance the look of your plant.
