In an apocalypse scenario, how large would a VERY LARGE barbarian camp be, at the maximum?
In many apocalypse scenarios [Mad Max 2, Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, etc.], when society collapses, the survivors form camps, and sometimes raid other survivors. Hypothetically, how many people could a VERY LARGE survivor camp contain [what is the maximum number of people that could live in one of these VERY LARGE camps]? Also, how far from the centers of humanity would you have to go to evade these barbaric survivors?
Are we talking about some sort of barbarian horde here?
Many thousands.
If the horde was well supplied and on the move, perhaps hundreds of thousands.
p.s; you can’t run from something that size, so make sure you find a very good bloody hiding spot.
