Ottawa Senators Tickets – OttawaâS Hot On The Trail!
The 2008-2009 Ottawa Senators forwards are Daniel Alfredsson, Cody Bass, Shean Donovan, Mike Fisher, Nick Foligno, Dany Heatley, Chris Kelly, Dean McAmmond, Chris Neil, Jarkko Ruutu, Christoph Schubert, Jason Speezza, Antonie Vermette, and Jesse Winchester. Defensemen are Brendon Bell, Filip Kuba, Brian Lee, Alexandre Picard, Jason Smith, Anton Volchenkov. Goalies consist of Alex Alud and Brian Elliot. Donovan and Bass round out the injured reserve list. After capping off the Washington Capitals at home in their last game they move on to visit the Devils in Jersey then come home to face off against the Blues and the Blue Jackets to end out January. February they look to once again to face off against the Capitals in Washington for their first game of the month and continuing at home with the Kings, Bruins, the Sabres whom they’ll be facing back to back at home and abroad, the Canucks, Sharks and the Maple Leafs. Their other away games will be with the Flyers, Wild, Predators, Avalanche and Canadiens. In March eight out of fifteen games are home in which they host the Flames, Oilers, Sabres, Maple Leafs, Lighting, Canadiens and the Islanders. Their travel games will be with the Bruins, Penguins, Rangers, Hurricanes, Thrasher, Lighting and Panthers. The Senators will close out the 2008-2009 season in April with six final games visiting the Bruins, Canadiens and Maple Leafs. At home they do final battles with the Flyers, Bruins once more and the Devils on April 11 bring things to an end. Ottawa’s general managers are Bryan Murray and Tim Murray. Coaching staff is lead by head coach Craig Hartsburg, assistant coach Greg Carvel, assistant coach Curtis Hunt, director of player development Randy Lee, conditioning coach Adam Douglas, video coach Tim Pattyson and goaltending coach Eli Wilson. The training staff with head equipment manager Scott Allegrino, head athletic trainer Gerry Townend, assistant equipment manager Chris Cook and assistant athletic therapist Matthew Bennett. Medical staff for the Senators are team doctor Don Chow M.D., team doctor Anita Pozgay M.D., team doctor Mark Aubury M.D., team doctor Steve Papp M.D., team dentist Bill Henry and team optometrist Greg Moloney. Ottawa’s continuing roster includes forwards Ruslan Bashkirov, Danny Bois, Louie Caporusso, Erik Condra, Kaspars Daugavins, Derek Grant, Colin Greening, Jim McKenzie, Igor Mirnov, Jim O’Brien, Andre Peterson, Peter Regin, Emil Sandin, Zack Smith, Shawn Weller, Roman Wick, Iiya Zuboy. Defensemen Vitaly Anikeyenko, Vitali Atyushov, Ben Blood, Sergei Gimayev, Eric Gryba, Erik Karlsson, Matias Karlsson, Tomas Kudelka, Kirill Lyamin, Dimtri Megalinsky, Derek Smith, Geoff Waugh and Patrick Wiercioh. Goalies are Martin Gerber and Jeff Glass. The Senators might have a good chance of getting a playoff spot. If they can manage to pull off four or more wins they could possibly bump off the number eight Carolina Hurricanes. Let’s hope that the Senators can rally up to the challenge at hand.
