What do you think of thrift store and vintage shopping?

i started years ago because i’m a broke college kid, but i did it in high school too.
i would find these wonderful colorful one of a kind pieces.
they would be less than 6 bucks for a shirt, and less than 15 bucks for pants.
i could get so much for 100 dollars.
a lot of people cling to designer labels, and call that fashion, but its just copying off of someone else, so how is that fashion. its not really your own fashion.
i think its nice to have some innovators who wear thrift store stuff especially stuff i’ve seen and own is like janis joplin, prince, and jimi hendrix style’s.
so…a lot of people i know blow money on designer or even at the mall, but i go to ross, tjmaxx, plato’s closet, and michaels.
i’ve even seen stuff at walmart, kmart, etc.
so…what do you think of thrift store/vintage shopping?
as long as the clothes are clean-not dirty, and not smelling. a nice design and color. i’lll wear it.
