Yellow Pillow
Each time you get a new pillow for my husband that turns yellow. Right across the box and cover. Is it the diet?

This happens gradually about six months. Gets worse every day. Only when the head comes in contact with the pillow. No smoking. Sleep with the window cracked open and sleeps only with a sheet over him. The temperature in your room is set around 55-60. I suppose I could sweat, but does not appear.

It seems to be sweating head at night and the sweat comes out through the pillowcase on the pillow. Your scalp produces a large amount of oil and that is normal for men. pillows women do not become yellow because women have longer hair in general. You can throw pillows in the washer and wash and tumble dry. And buy a new set of pillows every year or two.
